Please let us know if there are any errors or omissions on this page, we would welcome any comments or input from the many time equipment dealers out their.  My experience started with Simplex in Canada in the mid 1980's and then with Amano from 1993 to present so any input would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Acroprint Clocks
Cincinatti Clocks
Cincinatti model 1000 series this came in two versions the manual side print pictured here and an automatic trigger version, some were equiped with bell ringing capabilities.  I think this model was the model just before  the model 10000 series
Cincinatti Model 10000 Series: This clock  had two versions, a manual version as pictured here and an automatic trigger model, the manual clock had a handle on the right hand side of the clock, this handle would activate the plunger, the manual models ended with a M at the end of the model number while the automatic trigger version ended with a SS at the end of the model number.  This clock could be ordered from the factory with a bell ringing option, and it used a plastic tape with holes punched in it to activate a bell switch.
There are various colour  finishes for the case depending on the age,  they all have a plastic case, however the ealiest models were grey in colour and the later models changed to a biege or ivory colour.  This clock was produced from approx  earlt 1970's for the grey plastic model to the change to the biege colour in the mid 1980's, produced up to approx 1993.
Motors and ribbons are still available, but most other parts will have to be striped from other clocks.  Uses a double spool blue ribbon 1 1/16 inches wide.

Model System 350:  Calculating Time clock used a optical barcode reader to read special barcoded time cards, stand alone unit /computer interface available.  Discontinued by Kronos in 1999
Lathem Clocks
Rapidprint Clocks
Simplex Clocks
Simplex Model 0002-9500: Manual trigger
Simplex Model 0002-9600: Automatic trigger
Simplex Model 1201-9500 or TR2C: Consecutive or clipper type clock as they used to refer to it, this clock would cut a small line or indent in the card this is how it would position the punch on the timecard.  Print started at the top of the card and worked its way to the bottom, this was the opposite way the Amano and Cincinnatti clipper clocks would punch , also the Amano clipper (models 6500/6700/6800/6900 ) and the Cincinatti clipper (model 3000) would  take a round punch hole out of the side of the time card.
This clock was produced from approx. 1980 to 1997.  It was always the same biege colour and always had a plastic case, there were various versions avaliable some with bell ringing options and with two colour printing and some were equiped with battery backup modules and did not use timing motors, if the last 4 digits of the serial number began with 9600 then  that clock had a T.A.M(Time Accumulator Module) installed in it and had battery backup. With all Simplex clocks produced from 1956 the last 2 digits in the serial number gave the month and year of manufacture, the first digit donates the year, 1956 started with A and it repeated in 1980 starting with A again.

Clock parts such as motors and ribbons are still available new, the ribbon is a cartridge type ribbon which came in black ink or two colour black/red.  Simplex discontinued all replacement parts in 2002 for this model, but there are hundreds of old ones hanging around, I must have 2 or 3 dozen in various stages of  decay.
Please note: if your clock is loosing or gaining time and the clock face and type section are out of sync then your clock probably can't be repaired, there are little plastic fingers which lock the type section in place when these wear out that's it  Unfortunately this little plastic fingers were very cheap when available ( $2.50 ea) but they are very hard to find now!
